Floristry Introductory Workshops

Let your senses bloom and step into the art of flowers.

You’ll spend your days surrounded by beautiful blooms — working hands-on with a wide range of seasonal flowers while learning essential techniques that form the foundation of modern floristry.

Throughout the sessions, you’ll experience both deconstructive and constructive floral designs — from hand-tied bouquets and posies to arrangements in vases, baskets, and wire-based creations — all designed to celebrate life’s most memorable moments.

✿ Workshop Content

Our introductory program is designed to give you a solid grounding in professional floral practices and creative design. You will learn to:

• Apply safe work practices and correctly maintain floristry tools and equipment
• Recognise flower and plant materials, including their seasonal characteristics and care
• Explore the use of colour, texture, and balance in floral design

• Assemble a variety of floristry products, including:

  • Deconstructive hand-tied floristry: single and bunch flower wrapping, posy and presentation bouquets

  • Constructive base arrangements: posy boxes, floral baskets, and medium-based designs

  • Constructive wire floristry: wrist corsages, buttonholes, and floral head circlets (flower crowns)

   

🕒 Duration & Schedule

The complete program consists of 12 hours of training, delivered across four sessions.
Each session runs for 3 hours, allowing ample time for both technique development and hands-on practice.

We offer fully flexible scheduling to accommodate your personal commitments. There is no fixed start date — you may commence the workshop at any time. Please contact us prior to making a booking so we can arrange a personalised schedule that best suits your availability.

Following each session, we will coordinate together to confirm the next session, ensuring a personalised timetable that aligns with your availability. Our goal is to create a smooth and supportive learning experience tailored to your needs.

• All flowers and materials are included — you’ll take home your completed floral creations after each session.

• Tools are provided for use during the workshop. You’re also welcome to purchase your own if you wish.
  

Please note: Workshop fees are non-refundable, but we understand everyone’s schedule is unique — so we’re always flexible and happy to work with you to find suitable class times.
